The launch of a new connected service is planned for the 2015/16 season and will be developed over the coming years. Digital technology is integrated in the skier’s itinerary offering personal assistance according to each person’s requirements, experience and location. The app proposes an adapted, personal programme that evolves on a daily basis.

Paradiski Gravity, défi réussi!

Paradiski Gravity : un anniversaire à la hauteur.

Toute la vallée de la Tarentaise (Savoie) a retenu son souffle ce lundi 16 décembre 2013 pour Paradiski Gravity. Une première mondiale en highline a été réalisée depuis le téléphérique Vanoise Express (380 mètres de hauteur), à l’occasion des 10 ans du domaine skiable Paradiski. Les deux highliners français, Tancrède Melet et Julien Millot, ont réussi leur pari et les bougies ont pu être soufflées avec succès !


Une performance spectaculaire…

Traverser sur une sangle entre les cabines du Vanoise Express reliant les domaines skiables des Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry et de La Plagne (domaine skiable Paradiski) sur 60 mètres de longueur, 2,5 cm de largeur et 380 mètres de hauteur : voici le défi que 2 highliners français de renommée, Tancrède Melet et Julien Millot, se sont lancés. Sous des conditions climatiques optimales (grand ciel bleu, température douce et vent absent), Tancrède et Julien ont assuré un spectacle grandiose devant les nombreux objectifs présents pour l’occasion. En vue de cette performance inédite, les deux highliners n’ont pas échappé au stress, qu’ils ne se sont d’ailleurs pas cachés de faire partager : «Plus on se laisse envahir par le sentiment de peur, plus on va l’accepter et finalement l’oublier pour atteindre un état de plénitude», confie Tancrède.

Évoluant habituellement entre deux points naturels (rochers, arbres…), les highliners ont, cette fois-ci, accroché leur sangle entre deux structures artificielles des plus originales. Sublimées par le célèbre créateur de mode Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, les deux télécabines du téléphérique Vanoise Express, suspendues dans le vide, se sont fondues dans le décor montagnard en ajoutant quelques notes colorées sur les sommets enneigés. Situées dans l’axe du massif du Mont-Blanc, elles ont, de plus, offert un cadre remarquable, permettant aux highliners de marcher, tels des chats, sur le toit de l’Europe.
