La Plagne in April is an Easter skifest!

From 1,970 to 2,700 metres: 6 peaks in the ski area take on a new look, with original and eclectic

themes. Skiers can go from one peak to the next enjoying a variety of free, family-friendly activities.

In April 2015, La Plagne was proud to be awardedthe prize for the best event organised for the “Spring Skiing” operation, at the Trophées de la Montagne prize-giving ceremony.

Zen Altitude – Arpette (2,385m)

Fauna, on the theme of Mongolia – Grande Rochette (2,505m)

A fun, multi-activity tournament with a growing following based around Champangy’s ice tower. Events change each year but previous challenges have included iceclimbing, tandem snow-shoe walking, hay sledging, beret throwing plus other alternative versions of traditional snow activities.

2nd Yeti Race: 12 December 2015

In teams of 2, take on a number of different challenges on this snow-covered course, testing orientation skills, precision, strength, agility and endurance.

This year, there are 2 different courses to choose from: the standard 20km (1,000m elevation gain) and a new, easier 10km course (500m elevation gain). Mutual aid is the key concept of this race.

The first ski area to see digital technology as a priority investment, Paradiski aims to offer each skier a fully connected experience.

The launch of a new connected service is planned for the 2015/16 season and will be developed over the coming years. Digital technology is integrated in the skier’s itinerary offering personal assistance according to each person’s requirements, experience and location. The app proposes an adapted, personal programme that evolves on a daily basis.

Montalbert Gondola

Replacing 2 chairlifts (Montalbert and Fornelet), this 10 person gondola is a fast link from Plagne Montalbert at 1350m and the top of the Fornelet at 1970m.

It takes just 6 minutes and can carry 2800 people/hr, dividing skier travel time by at least 5!
